प्र रे॒भ ए॒त्यति॒ वार॑म॒व्ययं॒ वृषा॒ वने॒ष्वव॑ चक्रद॒द्धरि॑: । सं धी॒तयो॑ वावशा॒ना अ॑नूषत॒ शिशुं॑ रिहन्ति म॒तय॒: पनि॑प्नतम् ॥ प्र रेभ एत्यति वारमव्ययं वृषा वनेष्वव चक्रदद्धरिः । सं धीतयो वावशाना अनूषत शिशुं रिहन्ति मतयः पनिप्नतम् ॥
The sounding (Soma) passes through the woollen fleece; the green-tinted showerer cries in the waters; the worshippers desiring (the Soma) praise him together, the laudations soothe the infant as he cries.

स सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभि॒: परि॑ व्यत॒ तन्तुं॑ तन्वा॒नस्त्रि॒वृतं॒ यथा॑ वि॒दे । नय॑न्नृ॒तस्य॑ प्र॒शिषो॒ नवी॑यसी॒: पति॒र्जनी॑ना॒मुप॑ याति निष्कृ॒तम् ॥ स सूर्यस्य रश्मिभिः परि व्यत तन्तुं तन्वानस्त्रिवृतं यथा विदे । नयन्नृतस्य प्रशिषो नवीयसीः पतिर्जनीनामुप याति निष्कृतम् ॥
He invests himself with the rays of the sun stretching out the triple thread in the way he knows; guiding the recent adorations of the truthful (worshipper), the protection of women passes to the consecrated (vessel).

राजा॒ सिन्धू॑नां पवते॒ पति॑र्दि॒व ऋ॒तस्य॑ याति प॒थिभि॒: कनि॑क्रदत् । स॒हस्र॑धार॒: परि॑ षिच्यते॒ हरि॑: पुना॒नो वाचं॑ ज॒नय॒न्नुपा॑वसुः ॥ राजा सिन्धूनां पवते पतिर्दिव ऋतस्य याति पथिभिः कनिक्रदत् । सहस्रधारः परि षिच्यते हरिः पुनानो वाचं जनयन्नुपावसुः ॥
The sovereign of rivers flows pure, the lord of heaven goes with a shout by the paths of the sacrifice; the thousand-streamed green-tinted (Soma) is poured out, uttering a sound while being filtered, the bringer of wealth.

पव॑मान॒ मह्यर्णो॒ वि धा॑वसि॒ सूरो॒ न चि॒त्रो अव्य॑यानि॒ पव्य॑या । गभ॑स्तिपूतो॒ नृभि॒रद्रि॑भिः सु॒तो म॒हे वाजा॑य॒ धन्या॑य धन्वसि ॥ पवमान मह्यर्णो वि धावसि सूरो न चित्रो अव्ययानि पव्यया । गभस्तिपूतो नृभिरद्रिभिः सुतो महे वाजाय धन्याय धन्वसि ॥
Purified (Soma), you pour forth abundant juice; like the wonderful sun (you approach) the fleecy filters; purified by the hands of the priests, expressed with the stones you flow for a mighty wealth-yielding conflict.

इष॒मूर्जं॑ पवमाना॒भ्य॑र्षसि श्ये॒नो न वंसु॑ क॒लशे॑षु सीदसि । इन्द्रा॑य॒ मद्वा॒ मद्यो॒ मद॑: सु॒तो दि॒वो वि॑ष्ट॒म्भ उ॑प॒मो वि॑चक्ष॒णः ॥ इषमूर्जं पवमानाभ्यर्षसि श्येनो न वंसु कलशेषु सीदसि । इन्द्राय मद्वा मद्यो मदः सुतो दिवो विष्टम्भ उपमो विचक्षणः ॥
You rush, Pavamāna, to (bring) food and strength; you alight on the pitchers like a falcon on its nest; (you) the exhilarating effused juice giving exhilaration to Indra, resembling the support of heaven, beholding (all things).
