न॒हि ष्म॒ यद्ध॑ वः पु॒रा स्तोमे॑भिर्वृक्तबर्हिषः । शर्धाँ॑ ऋ॒तस्य॒ जिन्व॑थ ॥ नहि ष्म यद्ध वः पुरा स्तोमेभिर्वृक्तबर्हिषः । शर्धाँ ऋतस्य जिन्वथ ॥

sanskrit

(Maruts), for whom the sacred grass is trimmed, it cannot be (that you submit to be detained), for youhave derived strength from the sacrifice, formerly (accompanied) by our praises.

english translation

They have concentrated the abundant waters, they have held together the heaven and earth, they havesustained the sun, they have divided (Vṛtra) joint by joint with the thunderbolt.

They have come to the aid of the warring Trita, invigorating his strength, and (animating) his acts; theyhave come to the aid of Indra, for the destruction of Vṛtra.
