ये द्र॒प्सा इ॑व॒ रोद॑सी॒ धम॒न्त्यनु॑ वृ॒ष्टिभि॑: । उत्सं॑ दु॒हन्तो॒ अक्षि॑तम् ॥ ये द्रप्सा इव रोदसी धमन्त्यनु वृष्टिभिः । उत्सं दुहन्तो अक्षितम् ॥
They who, like dropping showers, inflate heaven and earth with rain, milking the inexhaustible cloud.
english translation
उदु॑ स्वा॒नेभि॑रीरत॒ उद्रथै॒रुदु॑ वा॒युभि॑: । उत्स्तोमै॒: पृश्नि॑मातरः ॥ उदु स्वानेभिरीरत उद्रथैरुदु वायुभिः । उत्स्तोमैः पृश्निमातरः ॥
The sons of Pṛśni rise up with shouts, with chariots, with winds, with praises.
english translation
येना॒व तु॒र्वशं॒ यदुं॒ येन॒ कण्वं॑ धन॒स्पृत॑म् । रा॒ये सु तस्य॑ धीमहि ॥ येनाव तुर्वशं यदुं येन कण्वं धनस्पृतम् । राये सु तस्य धीमहि ॥
We meditate on that (genitive rosity) whereby for (the sake of granting them) riches you have protectedTurvaśa and Yadu and the wealth-desiring Kaṇva.
english translation
इ॒मा उ॑ वः सुदानवो घृ॒तं न पि॒प्युषी॒रिष॑: । वर्धा॑न्का॒ण्वस्य॒ मन्म॑भिः ॥ इमा उ वः सुदानवो घृतं न पिप्युषीरिषः । वर्धान्काण्वस्य मन्मभिः ॥
Munificent (Maruts), may these (sacrificial) viands, nutritious as butter, together with the praises of thedescendant of Kaṇva, afford you augmentation.
english translation
क्व॑ नू॒नं सु॑दानवो॒ मद॑था वृक्तबर्हिषः । ब्र॒ह्मा को व॑: सपर्यति ॥ क्व नूनं सुदानवो मदथा वृक्तबर्हिषः । ब्रह्मा को वः सपर्यति ॥
Munificent (Maruts), for whom the sacred grass has been trimmed, where now are you beingexhilarated? What pious worshipper detains you as he) adores you?
