ह॒विष्कृ॑णुध्व॒मा ग॑मदध्व॒र्युर्व॑नते॒ पुन॑: । वि॒द्वाँ अ॑स्य प्र॒शास॑नम् ॥ हविष्कृणुध्वमा गमदध्वर्युर्वनते पुनः । विद्वाँ अस्य प्रशासनम् ॥
(Priests), present the oblation, for (Agni) has come; the Adhvaryu again offers (the sacrifice),well-skilled in its offering.
english translation
नि ति॒ग्मम॒भ्यं१॒॑शुं सीद॒द्धोता॑ म॒नावधि॑ । जु॒षा॒णो अ॑स्य स॒ख्यम् ॥ नि तिग्ममभ्यंशुं सीदद्धोता मनावधि । जुषाणो अस्य सख्यम् ॥
The Hotā sits down by (Agni's) hot flame, rejoicing in his friendship towards the offerer.
english translation
अ॒न्तरि॑च्छन्ति॒ तं जने॑ रु॒द्रं प॒रो म॑नी॒षया॑ । गृ॒भ्णन्ति॑ जि॒ह्वया॑ स॒सम् ॥ अन्तरिच्छन्ति तं जने रुद्रं परो मनीषया । गृभ्णन्ति जिह्वया ससम् ॥
For the sake of the offerer, they seek by their skill to place Rudra in the fore-front; they seize, as he sleeps, with their tongues.
english translation
जा॒म्य॑तीतपे॒ धनु॑र्वयो॒धा अ॑रुह॒द्वन॑म् । दृ॒षदं॑ जि॒ह्वयाव॑धीत् ॥ जाम्यतीतपे धनुर्वयोधा अरुहद्वनम् । दृषदं जिह्वयावधीत् ॥
(Agni), the giver of food, scorches the vast bow (Of the sky); he mounts the water; he smites the cloud with his tongue.
english translation
चर॑न्व॒त्सो रुश॑न्नि॒ह नि॑दा॒तारं॒ न वि॑न्दते । वेति॒ स्तोत॑व अ॒म्ब्य॑म् ॥ चरन्वत्सो रुशन्निह निदातारं न विन्दते । वेति स्तोतव अम्ब्यम् ॥
Roaming like a calf and bright-shining, he finds here no hinderer; he seeks a chanter to praise him.
english translation
