प्र यद्व॑स्त्रि॒ष्टुभ॒मिषं॒ मरु॑तो॒ विप्रो॒ अक्ष॑रत् । वि पर्व॑तेषु राजथ ॥ प्र यद्वस्त्रिष्टुभमिषं मरुतो विप्रो अक्षरत् । वि पर्वतेषु राजथ ॥
When the pious worshipper offers you, Maruts, food at the three diurnal rites, then you havesovereignty over the mountains.
english translation
यद॒ङ्ग त॑विषीयवो॒ यामं॑ शुभ्रा॒ अचि॑ध्वम् । नि पर्व॑ता अहासत ॥ यदङ्ग तविषीयवो यामं शुभ्रा अचिध्वम् । नि पर्वता अहासत ॥
When, glorious and powerful (Maruts), you fit out your chariot, the mountains depart (from their places).
english translation
उदी॑रयन्त वा॒युभि॑र्वा॒श्रास॒: पृश्नि॑मातरः । धु॒क्षन्त॑ पि॒प्युषी॒मिष॑म् ॥ उदीरयन्त वायुभिर्वाश्रासः पृश्निमातरः । धुक्षन्त पिप्युषीमिषम् ॥
The loud-sounding sons of Pṛśni drive with their breezes (the clouds), they milk forth nutritious sustenance.
english translation
वप॑न्ति म॒रुतो॒ मिहं॒ प्र वे॑पयन्ति॒ पर्व॑तान् । यद्यामं॒ यान्ति॑ वा॒युभि॑: ॥ वपन्ति मरुतो मिहं प्र वेपयन्ति पर्वतान् । यद्यामं यान्ति वायुभिः ॥
The Maruts scatter the rain, they shake the mountains, when they mount their chariot, with the winds.
english translation
नि यद्यामा॑य वो गि॒रिर्नि सिन्ध॑वो॒ विध॑र्मणे । म॒हे शुष्मा॑य येमि॒रे ॥ नि यद्यामाय वो गिरिर्नि सिन्धवो विधर्मणे । महे शुष्माय येमिरे ॥
The mountains are curbed, the rivers are restrained at your coming, for the upholding of your great strength.
english translation
