कूष्ठो॑ देवावश्विना॒द्या दि॒वो म॑नावसू । तच्छ्र॑वथो वृषण्वसू॒ अत्रि॑र्वा॒मा वि॑वासति ॥ कूष्ठो देवावश्विनाद्या दिवो मनावसू । तच्छ्रवथो वृषण्वसू अत्रिर्वामा विवासति ॥
Divine Ādityas, affluent in praise, descended this day from heaven upon the earth, hear that (laudation), which, liberal showerers (of benefits), Atri ever address to you.
english translation
कुह॒ त्या कुह॒ नु श्रु॒ता दि॒वि दे॒वा नास॑त्या । कस्मि॒न्ना य॑तथो॒ जने॒ को वां॑ न॒दीनां॒ सचा॑ ॥ कुह त्या कुह नु श्रुता दिवि देवा नासत्या । कस्मिन्ना यतथो जने को वां नदीनां सचा ॥
The divine Nāsatyās, where are they? where are they heard if in heaven? to what worshipper do you come? who may be the associate of your praises?
english translation
कं या॑थ॒: कं ह॑ गच्छथ॒: कमच्छा॑ युञ्जाथे॒ रथ॑म् । कस्य॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि रण्यथो व॒यं वा॑मुश्मसी॒ष्टये॑ ॥ कं याथः कं ह गच्छथः कमच्छा युञ्जाथे रथम् । कस्य ब्रह्माणि रण्यथो वयं वामुश्मसीष्टये ॥
To whom do you proceed? to whom do you repair? to (go to) whose presence do you harness your car? by whose prayers are you gratified? We are anxious for your arrival.
english translation
पौ॒रं चि॒द्ध्यु॑द॒प्रुतं॒ पौर॑ पौ॒राय॒ जिन्व॑थः । यदीं॑ गृभी॒तता॑तये सिं॒हमि॑व द्रु॒हस्प॒दे ॥ पौरं चिद्ध्युदप्रुतं पौर पौराय जिन्वथः । यदीं गृभीततातये सिंहमिव द्रुहस्पदे ॥
Pauras, send to Paura the rain-shedding cloud drive it to him who is engaged in sacrifice, as (hunters chase) a lion in a forest.
english translation
प्र च्यवा॑नाज्जुजु॒रुषो॑ व॒व्रिमत्कं॒ न मु॑ञ्चथः । युवा॒ यदी॑ कृ॒थः पुन॒रा काम॑मृण्वे व॒ध्व॑: ॥ प्र च्यवानाज्जुजुरुषो वव्रिमत्कं न मुञ्चथः । युवा यदी कृथः पुनरा काममृण्वे वध्वः ॥
You stripped off (his aged form) like a cuirass ffrom the decrepit Cyavāna, so that, when you had rendered him again a youth, he attracted the desires of women.
