आ या॒ह्यद्रि॑भिः सु॒तं सोमं॑ सोमपते पिब । वृष॑न्निन्द्र॒ वृष॑भिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥ आ याह्यद्रिभिः सुतं सोमं सोमपते पिब । वृषन्निन्द्र वृषभिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥
Come, Indra, (to our sacrifice); drink, lord of the Soma, of the juice expressed by the stones; showerer (of benefits), utter destroyer of Vṛtra, (come) with the showering (Maruts).

वृषा॒ ग्रावा॒ वृषा॒ मदो॒ वृषा॒ सोमो॑ अ॒यं सु॒तः । वृष॑न्निन्द्र॒ वृष॑भिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥ वृषा ग्रावा वृषा मदो वृषा सोमो अयं सुतः । वृषन्निन्द्र वृषभिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥
The stone is the showerer, the inebriation is the showerer, this effused Soma is the showerer; showerer (of benefits), Indra, utter destroyer of Vṛtra, come with the showering (Maruts).

वृषा॑ त्वा॒ वृष॑णं हुवे॒ वज्रि॑ञ्चि॒त्राभि॑रू॒तिभि॑: । वृष॑न्निन्द्र॒ वृष॑भिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥ वृषा त्वा वृषणं हुवे वज्रिञ्चित्राभिरूतिभिः । वृषन्निन्द्र वृषभिर्वृत्रहन्तम ॥
Effusing the libation, I invoke you, the showerer (of benefits), for your marvellous protections; showerer (of benefits), Indra, utter destroyer of Vṛtra, come with the showering (Maruts).

ऋ॒जी॒षी व॒ज्री वृ॑ष॒भस्तु॑रा॒षाट् छु॒ष्मी राजा॑ वृत्र॒हा सो॑म॒पावा॑ । यु॒क्त्वा हरि॑भ्या॒मुप॑ यासद॒र्वाङ्माध्यं॑दिने॒ सव॑ने मत्स॒दिन्द्र॑: ॥ ऋजीषी वज्री वृषभस्तुराषाट् छुष्मी राजा वृत्रहा सोमपावा । युक्त्वा हरिभ्यामुप यासदर्वाङ्माध्यंदिने सवने मत्सदिन्द्रः ॥
May the accepter of the spiritless libation, the wilder of the thunderbolt, the showerer (of benefits), the overcomer of quick- (flying foes), the mighty, the monarch, the slayer of Vṛtra, the drinker of the Soma, having harnessed his horses, come down (to us); may Indra be exhilarated at the mid-day sacrifice.

यत्त्वा॑ सूर्य॒ स्व॑र्भानु॒स्तम॒सावि॑ध्यदासु॒रः । अक्षे॑त्रवि॒द्यथा॑ मु॒ग्धो भुव॑नान्यदीधयुः ॥ यत्त्वा सूर्य स्वर्भानुस्तमसाविध्यदासुरः । अक्षेत्रविद्यथा मुग्धो भुवनान्यदीधयुः ॥
When, Sūrya, the son of the Asura Svarbhānu, overspread you with darkness, the worlds were beheld like one bewildered knowing not his place.
