अस्ति॒ हि वा॑मि॒ह स्तो॒ता स्मसि॑ वां सं॒दृशि॑ श्रि॒ये । नू श्रु॒तं म॒ आ ग॑त॒मवो॑भिर्वाजिनीवसू ॥ अस्ति हि वामिह स्तोता स्मसि वां संदृशि श्रिये । नू श्रुतं म आ गतमवोभिर्वाजिनीवसू ॥
A glorifier of you both is here; may we be (retained) in your sight for the sake of prosperity; hear today (my invocation); come hither with your protections, you who are affluent in food.
english translation
को वा॑म॒द्य पु॑रू॒णामा व॑व्ने॒ मर्त्या॑नाम् । को विप्रो॑ विप्रवाहसा॒ को य॒ज्ञैर्वा॑जिनीवसू ॥ को वामद्य पुरूणामा वव्ने मर्त्यानाम् । को विप्रो विप्रवाहसा को यज्ञैर्वाजिनीवसू ॥
Who among many mortals has this day (best) propitiated you? what wise man (has best propitiated you) who are reverenced by the wise? what (worshipper has best propitiated you) by sacrifice, you who are affluent in food?
english translation
आ वां॒ रथो॒ रथा॑नां॒ येष्ठो॑ यात्वश्विना । पु॒रू चि॑दस्म॒युस्ति॒र आ॑ङ्गू॒षो मर्त्ये॒ष्वा ॥ आ वां रथो रथानां येष्ठो यात्वश्विना । पुरू चिदस्मयुस्तिर आङ्गूषो मर्त्येष्वा ॥
May your car, Aśvins, the swiftest of the cars (of the gods), come hither well-disposed towards us, the discomfiter of numerous (foes), glorified among men.
english translation
शमू॒ षु वां॑ मधूयुवा॒स्माक॑मस्तु चर्कृ॒तिः । अ॒र्वा॒ची॒ना वि॑चेतसा॒ विभि॑: श्ये॒नेव॑ दीयतम् ॥ शमू षु वां मधूयुवास्माकमस्तु चर्कृतिः । अर्वाचीना विचेतसा विभिः श्येनेव दीयतम् ॥
May our repeated adoration of you two, who are desirous of the libation, be productive of felicity; descending to our presence, and exceeding in wisdom, travel with rapid (steeds), swift as two falcons.
english translation
अश्वि॑ना॒ यद्ध॒ कर्हि॑ चिच्छुश्रू॒यात॑मि॒मं हव॑म् । वस्वी॑रू॒ षु वां॒ भुज॑: पृ॒ञ्चन्ति॒ सु वां॒ पृच॑: ॥ अश्विना यद्ध कर्हि चिच्छुश्रूयातमिमं हवम् । वस्वीरू षु वां भुजः पृञ्चन्ति सु वां पृचः ॥
Aśvins, wherever you may be, hear this invocation; the excellent sacrificial offerings, longing for your proximity, reach you.
