यु॒वोरत्रि॑श्चिकेतति॒ नरा॑ सु॒म्नेन॒ चेत॑सा । घ॒र्मं यद्वा॑मरे॒पसं॒ नास॑त्या॒स्ना भु॑र॒ण्यति॑ ॥ युवोरत्रिश्चिकेतति नरा सुम्नेन चेतसा । घर्मं यद्वामरेपसं नासत्यास्ना भुरण्यति ॥
Leaders (of rites), Atri recognized (your benevolence) with (a grateful) mind on account of the relief (you afforded him), when, Nāsatyās, through his praise of you, he found the (fiery) heat innocuous.
english translation
उ॒ग्रो वां॑ ककु॒हो य॒यिः शृ॒ण्वे यामे॑षु संत॒निः । यद्वां॒ दंसो॑भिरश्वि॒नात्रि॑र्नराव॒वर्त॑ति ॥ उग्रो वां ककुहो ययिः शृण्वे यामेषु संतनिः । यद्वां दंसोभिरश्विनात्रिर्नराववर्तति ॥
Your strong, lofty, moving, ever-progressing (ear) has been renowned at sacrifices ever since; Aśvins, leaders (of rites), Atri was rescued by your acts.
english translation
मध्व॑ ऊ॒ षु म॑धूयुवा॒ रुद्रा॒ सिष॑क्ति पि॒प्युषी॑ । यत्स॑मु॒द्राति॒ पर्ष॑थः प॒क्वाः पृक्षो॑ भरन्त वाम् ॥ मध्व ऊ षु मधूयुवा रुद्रा सिषक्ति पिप्युषी । यत्समुद्राति पर्षथः पक्वाः पृक्षो भरन्त वाम् ॥
Mixers of the Soma juice, Rudras, (our) nutritious (adoration) bedews you will with the libation, when you traverse (the limits) of the firmament, and the prepared viands (of the sacrifice) support you.
english translation
स॒त्यमिद्वा उ॑ अश्विना यु॒वामा॑हुर्मयो॒भुवा॑ । ता याम॑न्याम॒हूत॑मा॒ याम॒न्ना मृ॑ळ॒यत्त॑मा ॥ सत्यमिद्वा उ अश्विना युवामाहुर्मयोभुवा । ता यामन्यामहूतमा यामन्ना मृळयत्तमा ॥
Truly have they called you, Aśvins, the bestowers of felicity; such may you be when earnestly invoked to our sacrifice; bountiful bestowers of felicity at our sacrifice.
english translation
इ॒मा ब्रह्मा॑णि॒ वर्ध॑ना॒श्विभ्यां॑ सन्तु॒ शंत॑मा । या तक्षा॑म॒ रथाँ॑ इ॒वावो॑चाम बृ॒हन्नम॑: ॥ इमा ब्रह्माणि वर्धनाश्विभ्यां सन्तु शंतमा । या तक्षाम रथाँ इवावोचाम बृहन्नमः ॥
May these praises exalting the Aśvins be productive of happiness, the praise that we fabricate as (a wheelwright) a car; we proclaim aloud fervent adoration.
