अह॒न्नहिं॑ परि॒शया॑न॒मर्ण॑ ओजा॒यमा॑नं तुविजात॒ तव्या॑न् । न ते॑ महि॒त्वमनु॑ भू॒दध॒ द्यौर्यद॒न्यया॑ स्फि॒ग्या॒३॒॑ क्षामव॑स्थाः ॥ अहन्नहिं परिशयानमर्ण ओजायमानं तुविजात तव्यान् । न ते महित्वमनु भूदध द्यौर्यदन्यया स्फिग्या क्षामवस्थाः ॥
Indra, from whom many are born; you who is vigorous have slain Ahi, enveloping the slumbering water and confiding in his prowess; yet the heaven apprehended not your greatness as you remained concealing the earth by on eof your flames.
english translation
य॒ज्ञो हि त॑ इन्द्र॒ वर्ध॑नो॒ भूदु॒त प्रि॒यः सु॒तसो॑मो मि॒येध॑: । य॒ज्ञेन॑ य॒ज्ञम॑व य॒ज्ञिय॒: सन्य॒ज्ञस्ते॒ वज्र॑महि॒हत्य॑ आवत् ॥ यज्ञो हि त इन्द्र वर्धनो भूदुत प्रियः सुतसोमो मियेधः । यज्ञेन यज्ञमव यज्ञियः सन्यज्ञस्ते वज्रमहिहत्य आवत् ॥
This our sacrifice, Indra, is your augmentation, for the rite in which the Soma is effused is acceptable to you do you who is deserving of worship protect the worshipper by (the efficacy of) the worship, and may this sacrifice strengthen your thunderbolt for the slaying of Ahi.

य॒ज्ञेनेन्द्र॒मव॒सा च॑क्रे अ॒र्वागैनं॑ सु॒म्नाय॒ नव्य॑से ववृत्याम् । यः स्तोमे॑भिर्वावृ॒धे पू॒र्व्येभि॒र्यो म॑ध्य॒मेभि॑रु॒त नूत॑नेभिः ॥ यज्ञेनेन्द्रमवसा चक्रे अर्वागैनं सुम्नाय नव्यसे ववृत्याम् । यः स्तोमेभिर्वावृधे पूर्व्येभिर्यो मध्यमेभिरुत नूतनेभिः ॥
The worshipper, by his conservatory sacrifice, has made Indra present; may Ibring him to my presence to obtain new wealth, him who has been exalted by praise, whether ancient, medieval, or recent.

वि॒वेष॒ यन्मा॑ धि॒षणा॑ ज॒जान॒ स्तवै॑ पु॒रा पार्या॒दिन्द्र॒मह्न॑: । अंह॑सो॒ यत्र॑ पी॒पर॒द्यथा॑ नो ना॒वेव॒ यान्त॑मु॒भये॑ हवन्ते ॥ विवेष यन्मा धिषणा जजान स्तवै पुरा पार्यादिन्द्रमह्नः । अंहसो यत्र पीपरद्यथा नो नावेव यान्तमुभये हवन्ते ॥
When the thought of glorifying Indra entered my mind, then I gave birth (to his praises); may I laud him before encountering distant (evil) days, whereby he may guide us beyond sin; for those on both sides of us invoke him, as (those on either bank of a river hail) a passenger in a boat.
english translation
आपू॑र्णो अस्य क॒लश॒: स्वाहा॒ सेक्ते॑व॒ कोशं॑ सिसिचे॒ पिब॑ध्यै । समु॑ प्रि॒या आव॑वृत्र॒न्मदा॑य प्रदक्षि॒णिद॒भि सोमा॑स॒ इन्द्र॑म् ॥ आपूर्णो अस्य कलशः स्वाहा सेक्तेव कोशं सिसिचे पिबध्यै । समु प्रिया आववृत्रन्मदाय प्रदक्षिणिदभि सोमास इन्द्रम् ॥
The vase is filled for him (with Soma); welcome Indra; I pour it out for you to drink, as a water-carrier (pours water) from his bag; may the grateful Soma flow in reverence round Indra for his exhilaration.
