म॒न्द्रं होता॑रमु॒शिजो॒ नमो॑भि॒: प्राञ्चं॑ य॒ज्ञं ने॒तार॑मध्व॒राणा॑म् । वि॒शाम॑कृण्वन्नर॒तिं पा॑व॒कं ह॑व्य॒वाहं॒ दध॑तो॒ मानु॑षेषु ॥ मन्द्रं होतारमुशिजो नमोभिः प्राञ्चं यज्ञं नेतारमध्वराणाम् । विशामकृण्वन्नरतिं पावकं हव्यवाहं दधतो मानुषेषु ॥
(The priests) desirous (to propitiate him), detaining him among men, have by their adoration made himlord over all people, him the exhilarator, the presenteer of burnt offerings, the migrator, the object of sacrifice, theleader of rites, the purifier, the bearer of oblations.
