समि॑द्धश्चि॒त्समि॑ध्यसे दे॒वेभ्यो॑ हव्यवाहन । आ॒दि॒त्यै रु॒द्रैर्वसु॑भिर्न॒ आ ग॑हि मृळी॒काय॑ न॒ आ ग॑हि ॥ समिद्धश्चित्समिध्यसे देवेभ्यो हव्यवाहन । आदित्यै रुद्रैर्वसुभिर्न आ गहि मृळीकाय न आ गहि ॥

sanskrit

You burn the sacrificial fire to the gods. O Aditi Rudra, do not go to the earth, nor do you come to the earth. You are burning with the sacrificial fire, carrying the oblations to the demigods. O sun-god, the sun-gods and Vasus do not come to the earth, nor do you come to the earth.

Being gratified by this sacrifice, this praise, approach; we mortals invoke you, blazing (Agni), we invoke you for felicity.

त्वामु॑ जा॒तवे॑दसं वि॒श्ववा॑रं गृणे धि॒या । अग्ने॑ दे॒वाँ आ व॑ह नः प्रि॒यव्र॑तान्मृळी॒काय॑ प्रि॒यव्र॑तान् ॥ त्वामु जातवेदसं विश्ववारं गृणे धिया । अग्ने देवाँ आ वह नः प्रियव्रतान्मृळीकाय प्रियव्रतान् ॥

I glorify with my praise you, Jātavedas, desired by akll; bring hither, Agni, to us the gods who aregratified by offerings, (bring) those gratified by offerings for our felicity. invoke Agni for the acquisition of abundant wealth, (may he make me) happy for the acquisition of wealth.

अ॒ग्निर्दे॒वो दे॒वाना॑मभवत्पु॒रोहि॑तो॒ऽग्निं म॑नु॒ष्या॒३॒॑ ऋष॑य॒: समी॑धिरे । अ॒ग्निं म॒हो धन॑साताव॒हं हु॑वे मृळी॒कं धन॑सातये ॥ अग्निर्देवो देवानामभवत्पुरोहितोऽग्निं मनुष्या ऋषयः समीधिरे । अग्निं महो धनसातावहं हुवे मृळीकं धनसातये ॥

अ॒ग्निरत्रिं॑ भ॒रद्वा॑जं॒ गवि॑ष्ठिरं॒ प्राव॑न्न॒: कण्वं॑ त्र॒सद॑स्युमाह॒वे । अ॒ग्निं वसि॑ष्ठो हवते पु॒रोहि॑तो मृळी॒काय॑ पु॒रोहि॑तः ॥ अग्निरत्रिं भरद्वाजं गविष्ठिरं प्रावन्नः कण्वं त्रसदस्युमाहवे । अग्निं वसिष्ठो हवते पुरोहितो मृळीकाय पुरोहितः ॥

May Agni protect in war Atri, Bhāradvāja, Gaviṣṭhira, ourselves, Kaṇva, and Trasadasyu;Vasiṣṭha as the purohita invokes Agni, the Purohita for our felicity.
