अप॒ प्राच॑ इन्द्र॒ विश्वाँ॑ अ॒मित्रा॒नपापा॑चो अभिभूते नुदस्व । अपोदी॑चो॒ अप॑ शूराध॒राच॑ उ॒रौ यथा॒ तव॒ शर्म॒न्मदे॑म ॥ अप प्राच इन्द्र विश्वाँ अमित्रानपापाचो अभिभूते नुदस्व । अपोदीचो अप शूराधराच उरौ यथा तव शर्मन्मदेम ॥
Victorious Indra, drive off all our foes, those who dwell in the east, and those who dwell in the west,(drive) off, O hero, those who dwell in the north, and those who dwell in the south, that we may rejoice in your exceeding felicity.

कु॒विद॒ङ्ग यव॑मन्तो॒ यवं॑ चि॒द्यथा॒ दान्त्य॑नुपू॒र्वं वि॒यूय॑ । इ॒हेहै॑षां कृणुहि॒ भोज॑नानि॒ ये ब॒र्हिषो॒ नमो॑वृक्तिं॒ न ज॒ग्मुः ॥ कुविदङ्ग यवमन्तो यवं चिद्यथा दान्त्यनुपूर्वं वियूय । इहेहैषां कृणुहि भोजनानि ये बर्हिषो नमोवृक्तिं न जग्मुः ॥
As the growers of barley often cut the barley, separating it uin due order, so do you, (O Indra), bestowhere and there nourishment upon those who have not neglected the performance of the sacrifice.

न॒हि स्थूर्यृ॑तु॒था या॒तमस्ति॒ नोत श्रवो॑ विविदे संग॒मेषु॑ । ग॒व्यन्त॒ इन्द्रं॑ स॒ख्याय॒ विप्रा॑ अश्वा॒यन्तो॒ वृष॑णं वा॒जय॑न्तः ॥ नहि स्थूर्यृतुथा यातमस्ति नोत श्रवो विविदे संगमेषु । गव्यन्त इन्द्रं सख्याय विप्रा अश्वायन्तो वृषणं वाजयन्तः ॥
The cart has not arrived in due season, nor does he acquire fame in battles, (let us), the sages,desiring cattle, desiring horses, desiring food, (solicit) Indra, the showerer, for his friendship.

यु॒वं सु॒राम॑मश्विना॒ नमु॑चावासु॒रे सचा॑ । वि॒पि॒पा॒ना शु॑भस्पती॒ इन्द्रं॒ कर्म॑स्वावतम् ॥ युवं सुराममश्विना नमुचावासुरे सचा । विपिपाना शुभस्पती इन्द्रं कर्मस्वावतम् ॥
You, O Aśvins, lords of light, having drunk the grateful (libation), jointly preserved Indra in battle against the Asura Namuci.

पु॒त्रमि॑व पि॒तरा॑व॒श्विनो॒भेन्द्रा॒वथु॒: काव्यै॑र्दं॒सना॑भिः । यत्सु॒रामं॒ व्यपि॑ब॒: शची॑भि॒: सर॑स्वती त्वा मघवन्नभिष्णक् ॥ पुत्रमिव पितरावश्विनोभेन्द्रावथुः काव्यैर्दंसनाभिः । यत्सुरामं व्यपिबः शचीभिः सरस्वती त्वा मघवन्नभिष्णक् ॥
Both the Aśvins defended (you), Indra, like two fathers (defending) a son with glorious exploits; when(triumphing) through the deeds of valour, you drank the grateful libation, Sarasvatī approached you, OMaghavat.
