इन्द्र॑: सु॒त्रामा॒ स्ववाँ॒ अवो॑भिः सुमृळी॒को भ॑वतु वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । बाध॑तां॒ द्वेषो॒ अभ॑यं कृणोतु सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ पत॑यः स्याम ॥ इन्द्रः सुत्रामा स्ववाँ अवोभिः सुमृळीको भवतु विश्ववेदाः । बाधतां द्वेषो अभयं कृणोतु सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥
May Indra, the protector, the possessor of treat wealth, the all- knowing, be favourable (to us) with hisprotections; may he confound our enemies, may he make us free from fear, may we be the parents of excellent male offspring.
english translation
तस्य॑ व॒यं सु॑म॒तौ य॒ज्ञिय॒स्यापि॑ भ॒द्रे सौ॑मन॒से स्या॑म । स सु॒त्रामा॒ स्ववाँ॒ इन्द्रो॑ अ॒स्मे आ॒राच्चि॒द्द्वेष॑: सनु॒तर्यु॑योतु ॥ तस्य वयं सुमतौ यज्ञियस्यापि भद्रे सौमनसे स्याम । स सुत्रामा स्ववाँ इन्द्रो अस्मे आराच्चिद्द्वेषः सनुतर्युयोतु ॥
May we be ever in (the enjoyment of) the favour of that adorable divinity (retained) in his favourablethoughts, and may the protecting and opulent Indra drive away far off us those who hate us.
