[वै] तस्य ताम अभयां वाचं शरुत्वा यॊधाः समागताः आयुः कीर्तियशॊ दाभिस तम आशिर भिर अनन्दयन ॥ ४-६२-६ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, ‘Hearing these words of assurance, the assembled warriors greeted him with prayers, praising his fame and achievements and wishing him long life.'' ॥ 4-62-6 ॥

[vai] tasya tAma abhayAM vAcaM zarutvA yòdhAH samAgatAH AyuH kIrtiyazò dAbhisa tama Azira bhira anandayana ॥ 4-62-6 ॥

'O prince, having looked around completely, all the cow-herds/cattle settlements have been brought together, O mighty-armed one, along with the brave cowherds/gopas." ' ॥ 4-62-8 ॥

'O prince, O mighty-armed hero, once we have tended the steeds with water and a bath, and the kine have been brought forward by the cowherds, we shall enter the city of Virata in the afternoon.' ॥ 4-62-9 ॥

tatò 'harAhNe yAsyAmò virATanagaraM parati AzvAsya pAyayitvA ca pariplAvya ca vAjinaH ॥ 4-62-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगच्छन्तु तवरिताश चैव गॊपालाः परेषितास तवया नगरे परियम आख्यातुं घॊषयन्तु च ते जयम ॥ ४-६२-१० ॥
'Let the cowherds, sent by thee, hasten to the city to spread the news and proclaim thy victory.' ॥ 4-62-10 ॥
