'And as the sons of Dhritarashtra, having been defeated, withdrew, a large number of Kuru soldiers, issuing cautiously from the dense forest, advanced slowly before Partha, their hearts filled with fear.' ।। 4-62-2 ।।
'And standing before him with joined palms and disheveled hair, exhausted by hunger and thirst, arriving in unfamiliar territory, and overwhelmed with fear and confusion, they all bowed before the son of Pritha.' ।। 4-62-3 ।।
'Exhausted by hunger and thirst, bewildered in a foreign land, and dismayed in mind, they addressed Partha, saying, “O Partha, what shall we do now?” ' ।। 4-62-4 ।।
[अर्ज] सवस्ति वरजत भद्रं वॊ न भेतव्यं कथं चन नाहम आर्ताञ जिघांसामि भृशम आश्वासयामि वः ।। ४-६२-५ ।।
'Arjuna said, “Welcome, and be blessed. Depart in safety; you have no cause for fear. I will not harm those who are distressed. You have my full assurance of protection.”' ।। 4-62-5 ।।
