ततॊ दिशश चानुदिशॊ विवृत्य; शरैः सुधारैर निशितैः सुपुङ्खैः गाण्डीवघॊषेण मनांसि तेषां; महाबलः परव्यथयां चकार ॥ ४-६१-९ ॥
'Covering all the cardinal and intermediate directions with sharp, well-feathered arrows, the mighty hero Partha stunned his foes with the thunderous twang of the Gandiva.' ॥ 4-61-9 ॥
english translation
tatò dizaza cAnudizò vivRtya; zaraiH sudhAraira nizitaiH supuGkhaiH gANDIvaghòSeNa manAMsi teSAM; mahAbalaH paravyathayAM cakAra ॥ 4-61-9 ॥
