तरैलॊक्यहेतॊर न जहेत सवधर्मं; तस्मान न सर्वे निहता रणे ऽसमिन कषिप्रं कुरून याहि कुरुप्रवीर; विजित्य गाश च परतियातु पार्थः ॥ ४-६१-२२ ॥

sanskrit

'He renounces not his principles, even for the sake of the three worlds. It is for this very reason that all of us have not perished in this battle. O foremost of Kuru heroes, return to the city of the Kurus, and allow Partha to depart, having accomplished the conquest of the kine. Never foolishly abandon your own welfare; indeed, one should always pursue that which leads to lasting benefit.' ॥ 4-61-22 ॥

tarailòkyahetòra na jaheta savadharmaM; tasmAna na sarve nihatA raNe 'samina kaSipraM kurUna yAhi kurupravIra; vijitya gAza ca paratiyAtu pArthaH ॥ 4-61-22 ॥
