यदि तावद वनेवासा यथॊक्तश चरितस तवया तत तवं धर्मार्थवित कलिष्टः समयं भेत्तुम इच्छसि ।। ४-५५-१० ।।

sanskrit

'If indeed you have lived in the forest as prescribed and conducted yourself accordingly, then why do you, who are learned in dharma and artha, wish to break the agreement while in distress?' ।। 4-55-10 ।।

english translation

yadi tAvada vanevAsA yathòktaza caritasa tavayA tata tavaM dharmArthavita kaliSTaH samayaM bhettuma icchasi || 4-55-10 ||
