तयॊर आसीत संप्रहारः करुद्धयॊर नरसिंहयॊः अमर्षिणॊस तदान्यॊन्यं देवदानवयॊर इव ॥ ४-५३-४७ ॥
'And the combat that raged between those enraged lions among men—each unable to endure the other—was like the clash of the gods and the Dānavas.' ॥ 4-53-47 ॥
