ततस ते दक्षिणं तीरम अन्वगच्छन पदातयः वसन्तॊ गिरिदुर्गेषु वनदुर्गेषु धन्विनः ।। ४-५-२ ।।

sanskrit

'And those bowmen, eager to regain their kingdom, who had long dwelt in the inaccessible hills and forest strongholds, now brought their forest-life to a close and moved toward the southern bank of the river.' ।। 4-5-2 ।।

english translation

tatasa te dakSiNaM tIrama anvagacchana padAtayaH vasantò giridurgeSu vanadurgeSu dhanvinaH || 4-5-2 ||
