उत्तराभ्यां च पूर्वाभ्यां फल्गुनीभ्याम अहं दिवा जातॊ हिमवतः पृष्ठे तेन मां फल्गुनं विदुः ॥ ४-३९-१४ ॥
'And I am known as Phālguna, because I was born upon the slopes of Himavat on the day when the constellation Uttara-Phālguni was in ascension.' ॥ 4-39-14 ॥

uttarAbhyAM ca pUrvAbhyAM phalgunIbhyAma ahaM divA jAtò himavataH pRSThe tena mAM phalgunaM viduH ॥ 4-39-14 ॥
