'For thy bow is like a Vina, O hero—its two ends are like the ivory pillows, the string its main chord, and the staff, the finger-board. The arrows thou shootest are the notes it plays. Strike, then, in the midst of the foe, that melodious Vina of war!' ।। 4-33-16 ।।
शवेता रजतसंकाशा रथे युज्यन्तु ते हयाः धवजं च सिंहं सौवर्णम उच्छ्रयन्तु तवाभिभॊः ।। ४-३३-१७ ।।
'Let thy steeds, O lord, gleaming like silver, be yoked to thy chariot, and let thy banner rise high, bearing the golden lion as its emblem.' ।। 4-33-17 ।।
'Let thy sharp arrows, winged with gold and loosed from thy mighty arms, sweep through the ranks of kings and darken even the sun’s light.' ।। 4-33-18 ।।
'Having vanquished the Kurus in battle, like the wielder of the thunderbolt crushing the Asuras, return to the city, resplendent with fame.' ।। 4-33-19 ।।
'O son of the Matsya king, thou art the sole refuge of this realm, even as Arjuna, foremost among the virtuous, is the refuge of the sons of Pandu. Truly, like Arjuna among his brothers, thou art, without doubt, the protector of all within these borders. We, the people of this kingdom, look to thee as our shield and support.' ।। 4-33-20 ।।
