नूनम आर्या न जानाति कृच्छ्रं पराप्तं धनंजयम अजातशत्रुं कौरव्यं मग्नं दूद्यूत देविनम ।। ४-१८-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'Surely, my mother-in-law knows not that Dhananjaya is enduring such profound distress. Nor does she know that Ajatasatru, the scion of the Kuru race, is sunk in misery, enslaved by the ruinous game of dice.' ।। 4-18-23 ।।

english translation

nUnama AryA na jAnAti kRcchraM parAptaM dhanaMjayama ajAtazatruM kauravyaM magnaM dUdyUta devinama || 4-18-23 ||
