ये दद्युर न च याचेयुर बरह्मण्याः सत्यवादिनः तेषां मां मानिनीं भार्यां सूतपुत्रः पदावधीत ॥ ४-१५-१६ ॥
'Those who give but never beg, who are devoted to Brahmins and are truthful speakers - of such men, the son of a charioteer has kicked me, their proud/honored wife, with his foot.' ॥ 4-15-16 ॥
english translation
येषां दुन्दुभिनिर्घॊषॊ जयाघॊषः शरूयते ऽनिशम तेषां मां मानिनीं भार्यां सूतपुत्रः पदावधीत ॥ ४-१५-१७ ॥
'Those whose drum beats and victory cries are heard constantly/incessantly - of such men, the son of a charioteer has kicked me, their proud/honored wife, with his foot.' ॥ 4-15-17 ॥

ये ते तेजस्विनॊ दान्ता बलवन्तॊ ऽभिमानिनः तेषां मां मानिनीं भार्यां सूतपुत्रः पदावधीत ॥ ४-१५-१८ ॥
'Those who are radiant/mighty, self-controlled, powerful, and proud - of such men, the son of a charioteer has kicked me, their proud/honored wife, with his foot.' ॥ 4-15-18 ॥

सर्वलॊकम इमं हन्युर धर्मपाशसितास तु ये तेषां मां मानिनीं भार्यां सूतपुत्रः पदावधीत ॥ ४-१५-१९ ॥
'Those who, bound by the bonds of dharma, could destroy this entire world - of such men, the son of a charioteer has kicked me, their proud/honored wife, with his foot.' ॥ 4-15-19 ॥

शरणं ये परपन्नानां भवन्ति शरणार्थिनाम चरन्ति लॊके परच्छन्नाः कव नु ते ऽदय महारथाः ॥ ४-१५-२० ॥
'Those who become the refuge of those who seek shelter, who become protectors of those seeking protection, who move about in the world disguised/hidden - where are those great warriors today?' ॥ 4-15-20 ॥
