विहीनान सर्वकामेभ्यॊ दासभाववशं गतान धर्मपाशपरिक्षिप्तान अशक्तान इव विक्रमे ।। २-७२-१६ ।।

'She cast her eyes upon the Pandavas, who were stripped of their wealth, kingdom, attire, and even their dignity, and were plunged into a state of bondage. Bound by the constraints of righteousness, they could not assert their strength.' ।। 2-72-16 ।।

english translation

vihInAna sarvakAmebhyò dAsabhAvavazaM gatAna dharmapAzaparikSiptAna azaktAna iva vikrame || 2-72-16 ||

'In the presence of the assembled kings, Duryodhana and Karna harshly addressed the distressed and enraged Krishna, who did not deserve such treatment. O monarch, all this seems to me to foretell dire and fearful consequences' ।। 2-72-17 ।।
