'Vaisampayana continued, "Hearing these words, the enraged Bhima exhaled heavily, a stark image of misery. Bound by duty and the ties of virtue, he looked upon everything with eyes blazing in anger, and said,"' ।। 2-63-6 ।।
'O king, I cannot be angry with the words of this son of a charioteer, for we have indeed fallen into a state of servitude. But tell me, could our enemies have dared to say such things to me if you had not staked this princess in the game?' ।। 2-63-7 ।।
'Vaisampayana continued, "Upon hearing the words of Radheya (Karna), King Duryodhana spoke to Yudhishthira, who was silent and seemingly unconscious."' ।। 2-63-8 ।।
भीमार्जुनौ यमौ चैव सथितौ ते नृपशासने परश्नं परब्रूहि कृष्णां तवम अजितां यदि मन्यसे ।। २-६३-९ ।।
'O king, Bhima, Arjuna, and the twins are all under your command. Address the question posed by Draupadi. Declare whether you consider Krishna to be unconquered.' ।। 2-63-9 ।।
