'Vaisampayana narrated, "Janardana, worthy of the worship of all, dwelled contentedly in Khandavaprastha for a period, receiving respectful love and affection from the sons of Pritha."' ।। 2-2-1 ।।
'One day, he felt the desire to depart from Khandavaprastha to visit his father. That possessor of expansive eyes, to whom the universe owed reverence, then paid respects to both Yudhishthira and Pritha before bowing his head at the feet of Kunti.' ।। 2-2-2 ।।
ववन्दे चरणौ मूर्ध्ना जगद वन्द्यः पितृस्वसुः स तया मूर्ध्न्य उपाघ्रातः परिष्वक्तश च केशवः ।। २-२-३ ।।
'He worshipped the revered feet of his father's sister, Kunti, with his head, for he is worthy of reverence by the whole world. Having touched her feet with his head, Kesava then embraced her.' ।। 2-2-3 ।।
'The illustrious one spoke to Subhadra, the auspicious one, who spoke well, words that were meaningful, true, beneficial, concise, appropriate, and unmatched.' ।। 2-2-5 ।।
