राशिसन्धिषु ये जातास्ते बाला गतजीविनाः।॥२३॥ पापदृष्टो युतो वाऽपि निःसंशयमिति स्मृतम्॥२३॥

Those children that are born at the junction of two signs are either born dead or are shortlived. This is all the more certain, it is said, when the Lagna is aspected by, or is conjoined with malefics.

rAzisandhiSu ye jAtAste bAlA gatajIvinAH॥।23॥ pApadRSTo yuto vA'pi niHsaMzayamiti smRtam॥23॥
