In Simha, the first 20° portion is the Moolatrikona; and the rest, Swakshetra of the Sun. in the same manuer, Saturn has his Moolatrikona and Swakshetra in Kumbha, i. e. 20° Moolatrikona and the remaning 10° Swakshetra.

The first 12° portion of Mesha is the Moolatrikona and the remaining 18°, Swakshetra of Mars. Similarly the first 5° portion of Dhanus is the Moolatrikona and the rest Swakshetra of Jupiter.

The lords of the 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th houses from their respective Moolatrikona houses happen to be the enemies of the various planets. This rule does not apply to the lords of their exaltation-Rasis.

A learned man should consider the lords of the other Rasis to be the friends of the several planets. Planets are said to be of three kinds: friends, enemies and neutrals among themselves.
