अथ धौतिः – विंशद्धस्तप्रमाणेन धौतवस्त्रं सुदीर्घितम् I चतुरंगुलविस्तारं सिक्तं चैव शनै: ग्रसेत् ॥१-३७॥
One should slowly swallow a clean wet cloth measuring twenty cubits in length and four fingers in width, and thereafter pull the same out.
