अत्र समाधिः - सलिले सैन्धवं यद्वत् साम्यं भवति योगवित् I तथात्ममनसोरैक्यं समाधिः सोऽभिधीयते ॥४-१॥
As salt is dissolved in water, likewise, a learned yogi attains unity of soul and mind. This is called samadhi.

जैसे नमक पानी में घुल जाता है, वैसे ही एक विद्वान योगी आत्मा और मन की एकता प्राप्त कर लेता है। इसे समाधि कहते हैं।

Mind is the lord of the senses, maruta (prana) is the lord of the mind, while laya is the lord of maruta and that laya is sustained by nada (sound).

अथ नादानुसन्धानम्- नादानुसन्धानसमाधिभाजां योगीश्वराणां हृदये प्ररूढम् I आनन्दमेकं वचसोऽप्यगम्यं जानाति तं श्रीगुरुनाथ एव ॥४-५॥
The great yogis, who experience the state of samadhi by meditating on nada, experience an inexplicable joy in their heart, which only shri gurunatha knows.

जो महान योगी नाद का ध्यान करके समाधि की स्थिति का अनुभव करते हैं, उनके हृदय में एक अनिर्वचनीय आनंद का अनुभव होता है, जिसे केवल श्री गुरुनाथ ही जानते हैं।
