तदनन्तरं परिव्राट्श्रवणभयं तत्परे त्वनशनभयम् । वृष्टिभयं वारुण्ये श्वतस्कराणां भयं परतः ॥ ८७-३६ ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 15th malefic quarter, ascetics will suffer miseries and the sense of hearing will suffer injury; if in the 16th malefic quarter, there will be suffering from hunger; if due west, there will be suffering from heavy rains and if in the 18th malefic quarter, dogs and thieves will suffer miseries.

tadanantaraM parivrATzravaNabhayaM tatpare tvanazanabhayam । vRSTibhayaM vAruNye zvataskarANAM bhayaM parataH ॥ 87-36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवायुग्रस्तविनाशः परे परे शस्त्रपुस्त वार्तानाम् । कोणे पुस्तकनाशः परे विषस्तेनवायुभयम् ॥ ८७-३७ ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 19 malefic quarter, there will be injury from violent winds; if in the 20th malefic quarter, dealers in books and weapons will suffer; if due north-west, books will suffer injuries and if in the next (22nd) malefic quarter, there will be fear from poison, thieves and wind.
english translation
vAyugrastavinAzaH pare pare zastrapusta vArtAnAm । koNe pustakanAzaH pare viSastenavAyubhayam ॥ 87-37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरतो वित्तविनाशो मित्रैः सह विग्रहश्च विज्ञेयः । तस्यऽसन्ने अश्ववधो भयं अपि च पुरोधसः प्रोक्तम् ॥ ८७-३८ ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 23rd malefic quarter, there will be destruction of wealth and a quarrel with friends; if in the 24th malefic quarter, horses will be killed and priests will suffer.
english translation
parato vittavinAzo mitraiH saha vigrahazca vijJeyaH । tasya'sanne azvavadho bhayaM api ca purodhasaH proktam ॥ 87-38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगोहरणशस्त्रघातावुदक्परे सार्थघातधननाशौ । आसन्ने च श्वभयं व्रात्यद्विजदासगणिकानाम् ॥ ८७-३९ ॥
If the omen occur due north, there will be theft of cows and blows from weapons; if in the 26th malefic quarter, parties of men will suffer and there will be destruction of wealth; if in the 27th malefic quarter, there will be fear of injury from dogs and out-castes, servants and prostitutes will suffer miseries.

goharaNazastraghAtAvudakpare sArthaghAtadhananAzau । Asanne ca zvabhayaM vrAtyadvijadAsagaNikAnAm ॥ 87-39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऐशानस्यऽसन्ने चित्राम्बरचित्रकृद्भयं प्रोक्तम् । ऐशाने त्वग्निभयं दूषणं अप्युत्तमस्त्रीणाम् ॥ ८७-४० ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 28th malefic quarter, clothes of various colours will suffer as well as painters; if it occur due north-east, there will be fear of injury from fire and virtuous women will suffer from calumny.
