तदनन्तरं परिव्राट्श्रवणभयं तत्परे त्वनशनभयम् । वृष्टिभयं वारुण्ये श्वतस्कराणां भयं परतः ॥ ८७-३६ ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 15th malefic quarter, ascetics will suffer miseries and the sense of hearing will suffer injury; if in the 16th malefic quarter, there will be suffering from hunger; if due west, there will be suffering from heavy rains and if in the 18th malefic quarter, dogs and thieves will suffer miseries.
