दिशि याम्यायां कुर्यादधिवासनमण्डपं बुधः प्राग्वा । तोरणचतुष्टययुतं शस्तद्रुमपल्लवच्छन्नम् ॥ ६०-०१ ॥

पूर्वे भागे चित्राः स्रजः पताकाश्च मण्डपस्यौक्ताः । आग्नेय्यां दिशि रक्ताः कृष्णाः स्युर्याम्यनैरृत्योः ॥ ६०-०२ ॥
In the eastern part of the mandapa there are painted garlands and banners They will be red in the southeast and dark in the north.

श्वेता दिश्यपरस्यां वायव्यायां तु पाण्डुरा एव । चित्राश्चौत्तरपार्श्वे पीताः पूर्वोत्तरे कार्याः ॥ ६०-०३ ॥
They are white in the other direction and white in the northwest. The yellow ones on the north side should be painted on the northeast side

आयुःश्रीबलजयदा दारुमयी मृण्मयी तथा प्रतिमा । लोकहिताय मणिमयी सौवर्णी पुष्टिदा भवति ॥ ६०-०४ ॥
Images made from wood or earth will give the master long life, wealth, strength and success. Images made of gems or precious stones will do good to the world at large. Images made of gold will give the master good health.

रजतमयी कीर्तिकरी प्रजाविवृद्धिं करोति ताम्रमयी । भूलाभं तु महान्तं शैली प्रतिमाअथ वा लिङ्गम् ॥ ६०-०५ ॥
Images of silver will increase the master’s fame. Images of copper will increase his family. Images of stone or the Liṅga will bring him much lands.
