ऐशानस्यऽसन्ने चित्राम्बरचित्रकृद्भयं प्रोक्तम् । ऐशाने त्वग्निभयं दूषणं अप्युत्तमस्त्रीणाम् ॥ ८७-४० ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 28th malefic quarter, clothes of various colours will suffer as well as painters; if it occur due north-east, there will be fear of injury from fire and virtuous women will suffer from calumny.
