अनभिहततूर्यनादः शब्दो वा ताडितेषु यदि न स्यात् । व्युत्पत्तौ वा तेषां परऽगमो नृपतिमरणं वा ॥ ४६-६१ ॥
If, when unstruck, instruments of music should be heard to sound, or if they should not sound when struck or produce wrong sounds, there would be foreign invasion or the reigning sovereign would perish.

anabhihatatUryanAdaH zabdo vA tADiteSu yadi na syAt । vyutpattau vA teSAM para'gamo nRpatimaraNaM vA ॥ 46-61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगोलाङ्गलयोः सङ्गे दर्वीशूर्पऽद्युपस्करविकारे । क्रोष्टुकनादे च तथा शस्त्रभयं मुनिवचश्चैदम् ॥ ४६-६२ ॥
If vocal or instrumental music or the sound of the drum or any other mysterious noise should be heard in the sky, or if moving objects should refuse to move and immovable objects begin to move, or if a drum should be found to be mute when struck, the ruler would suffer death, disease or defeat in battle.

golAGgalayoH saGge darvIzUrpa'dyupaskaravikAre । kroSTukanAde ca tathA zastrabhayaM munivacazcaidam ॥ 46-62 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवायव्येष्वेषु नृपतिर्वायुं शक्तुभिरर्चयेत् । आवायोरिति पञ्चर्चो जप्तव्याः प्रयतैर्द्विजैः ॥ ४६-६३ ॥
If monkey (apes) should be seen to copulate, or if ladles, winnowing baskets or other utensils should be heard to sound in an unusual manner, or if a jackal should be heard to howl, there would be wars in which armed men would engage in fight, according to the sages.

vAyavyeSveSu nRpatirvAyuM zaktubhirarcayet । AvAyoriti paJcarco japtavyAH prayatairdvijaiH ॥ 46-63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्राह्मणान्परमान्नेन दक्षिणाभिश्च तर्पयेत् । बह्वन्नदक्षिणा होमाः कर्तव्याश्च प्रयत्नतः ॥ ४६-६४ ॥
In the case of portents (utpāta) connected with the wind, the king shall worship a representation of God Vāyu made of the flour of barley, and shall have the five mantras beginning with “Āvāyo” recited by the Brāhmaṇas.

brAhmaNAnparamAnnena dakSiNAbhizca tarpayet । bahvannadakSiNA homAH kartavyAzca prayatnataH ॥ 46-64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुरपक्षिणो वनचरा वन्या वा निर्भया विशन्ति पुरम् । नक्तं वा दिवसचराः क्षपाचरा वा चरन्त्यहनि ॥ ४६-६५ ॥
He shall satisfy the Brāhmaṇas by feeding them with rice cooked in milk and by the gift of money to them, and Homa ceremonies shall also be performed and the officiating Brāhmaṇa shall be paid liberally.

purapakSiNo vanacarA vanyA vA nirbhayA vizanti puram । naktaM vA divasacarAH kSapAcarA vA carantyahani ॥ 46-65 ॥
