नातिद्रुतं न च विलम्बितं अप्रकम्पम् अध्वस्तमाल्यपिटकऽदिविभूषणं च । उत्थानं इष्टं अशुभं यदतो अन्यथा स्यात् तच्छान्तिभिर्नरपतेः शमयेत्पुरोधाः ॥ ४३-६१ ॥
The raising of the Banner is auspicious if it is neither too slow, nor too fast, not shaky, and if its garlands, decorations and ornaments are not spoiled. If it is otherwise, it forebodes evil, and the royal preceptor should mitigate it through expiatory ceremonies.

nAtidrutaM na ca vilambitaM aprakampam adhvastamAlyapiTaka'divibhUSaNaM ca । utthAnaM iSTaM azubhaM yadato anyathA syAt tacchAntibhirnarapateH zamayetpurodhAH ॥ 43-61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्रव्यादकौशिककपोतककाककङ्कैः केतुस्थितैर्महदुशन्ति भयं नृपस्य । चाषेण चापि युवराजभयं वदन्ति श्येनो विलोचनभयं निपतन्करोति ॥ ४३-६२ ॥
The king is greatly afraid of the flesh-eating crows, pigeons, crows and crows in the Ketu. When a fox falls down on his head, he is afraid of the young prince.

kravyAdakauzikakapotakakAkakaGkaiH ketusthitairmahaduzanti bhayaM nRpasya । cASeNa cApi yuvarAjabhayaM vadanti zyeno vilocanabhayaM nipatankaroti ॥ 43-62 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptछत्रभङ्गपतने नृपमृत्युस् तस्करान्मधु करोति निलीनम् । हन्ति चाप्यथ पुरोहितं उल्का पार्थिवस्य महिषीं अशनिश्च ॥ ४३-६३ ॥
When the umbrella breaks and falls, the king’s death makes the thief hide in honey. A meteor also kills the priest, and the queen of the earth is killed by a thunderbolt.

chatrabhaGgapatane nRpamRtyus taskarAnmadhu karoti nilInam । hanti cApyatha purohitaM ulkA pArthivasya mahiSIM azanizca ॥ 43-63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptराज्ञीविनाशं पतिता पताका करोत्यवृष्टिं पिटकस्य पातः । मध्याग्रमूलेषु च केतुभङ्गो निहन्ति मन्त्रिक्षितिपालपौरान् ॥ ४३-६४ ॥
A fallen flag causes the destruction of a queen and a fallen basket causes rain When the Ketu breaks at the roots of the middle tips of the trees, it kills the ministers, the rulers of the earth and the citizens.
english translation
rAjJIvinAzaM patitA patAkA karotyavRSTiM piTakasya pAtaH । madhyAgramUleSu ca ketubhaGgo nihanti mantrikSitipAlapaurAn ॥ 43-64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधूमऽवृते शिखिभयं तमसा च मोहो व्यालैश्च भग्नपतितैर्न भवत्यमात्याः । ग्लायन्त्युदक्प्रभृति च क्रमशो द्विजाद्यान् भङ्गे तु बन्धकि बधः कथितः कुमार्याः ॥ ४३-६५ ॥
When covered with smoke there is no fear of peacocks nor delusion of darkness nor of broken and fallen serpents They gradually swallowed the brāhmaṇas and others, beginning with the waters of the river.
english translation
dhUma'vRte zikhibhayaM tamasA ca moho vyAlaizca bhagnapatitairna bhavatyamAtyAH । glAyantyudakprabhRti ca kramazo dvijAdyAn bhaGge tu bandhaki badhaH kathitaH kumAryAH ॥ 43-65 ॥
