शशिनि फलं उदक्स्थे यद्ग्रहस्यौपदिष्टं भवति तदपसव्ये सर्वं एव प्रतीपम् । इति शशिसमवायाः कीर्तिता भग्रहाणां न खलु भवति युद्धं साकं इन्दोर्ग्रहऋक्षैः ॥ १८-०८ ॥
In other words the effects described, when the course of the Moon lies to the north of planets and stars will be reversed when her course lies to the south of such planets and stars. Thus have been described the effects of the Moon’s conjunction with stars and planets. The conjunctions of the Moon with the stars and planets are not conjunctions in fight but are mere meetings known technically as Samāgamas.

zazini phalaM udaksthe yadgrahasyaupadiSTaM bhavati tadapasavye sarvaM eva pratIpam । iti zazisamavAyAH kIrtitA bhagrahANAM na khalu bhavati yuddhaM sAkaM indorgrahaRkSaiH ॥ 18-08 ॥
