रविजस्य शशी प्रदक्षिणं कुर्याच्चेत्पुरभूभृतां जयः । शकबाह्लिकसिन्धुपह्लवा मुदभाजो यवनैः समन्विताः ॥ १८-०६ ॥
If the Moon should pass to the north of Saturn, the rulers of citizens will triumph in fight and the Śaka (Scythians), the Bāhlīkas, the people of Sindh (Sindhu), the Pahlavas and the Yavanas will be happy.
english translation
ravijasya zazI pradakSiNaM kuryAccetpurabhUbhRtAM jayaH । zakabAhlikasindhupahlavA mudabhAjo yavanaiH samanvitAH ॥ 18-06 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयेषां उदग्गच्च्छति भग्रहाणां प्रालेयरश्मिर्निरुपद्रवश्च । तद्द्रव्यपौरैतरभक्तिदेशान्पुष्णाति याम्येन निहन्ति तानि ॥ १८-०७ ॥
Generally if the Moon, suffering in no way, should pass to the north of the constellations and planets, the objects and persons presided over by them will prosper; if she should pass to their south, the same objects and persons will suffer miseries.
english translation
yeSAM udaggaccchati bhagrahANAM prAleyarazmirnirupadravazca । taddravyapauraitarabhaktidezAnpuSNAti yAmyena nihanti tAni ॥ 18-07 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशशिनि फलं उदक्स्थे यद्ग्रहस्यौपदिष्टं भवति तदपसव्ये सर्वं एव प्रतीपम् । इति शशिसमवायाः कीर्तिता भग्रहाणां न खलु भवति युद्धं साकं इन्दोर्ग्रहऋक्षैः ॥ १८-०८ ॥
In other words the effects described, when the course of the Moon lies to the north of planets and stars will be reversed when her course lies to the south of such planets and stars. Thus have been described the effects of the Moon’s conjunction with stars and planets. The conjunctions of the Moon with the stars and planets are not conjunctions in fight but are mere meetings known technically as Samāgamas.

zazini phalaM udaksthe yadgrahasyaupadiSTaM bhavati tadapasavye sarvaM eva pratIpam । iti zazisamavAyAH kIrtitA bhagrahANAM na khalu bhavati yuddhaM sAkaM indorgrahaRkSaiH ॥ 18-08 ॥
