कार्पासास्थिमयूरपत्रबृहतीनिर्माल्यपिण्डीतक- त्वङ्मांसीवृषदंशविट्तुषवचाकेशाहिनिर्मोककैः। नागेन्द्रद्विजशृङ्गहिङ्गुमरिचैस्तुल्यैः कृतं धूपनं स्कन्दोन्मादपिशाचराक्षससुरावेशज्वरघ्नं परम्॥१८॥
Fumigation done with the powder of equal of seeds of kārpāsāsthi – Gossypium herbaceum, feathers of peacock, bṛhatī – Solanum indicum, nirmālya – Anisomeles malabarica, piṇḍītaka tvak – Bark of Randia dumetorum, māṃsī – Nardostachys jatamansi, excreta of the cat, paddy husk, vacā – Acorus calamus, keśa – Human hairs, snake peel, toot (or tusk) of the elephant, cow horn, hiṅgu – Ferula asafoetida maricai: – and Piper nigrum is best to cure the seizures of Skanda, insanity, Pisaca (superstitious powers), Raksasa, Sura (deva) Grahas, epilepsy and fever.
