साधितं वत्सकाद्यैर्वा तैलं सपटुपञ्चकैः । कफघ्नान् धूमवमननावनादींश्च शीलयेत् ॥ ७१ ॥
or medicated oil prepared with herbs of Vatsakādi Gaṇa (chapter 15 of Sutrasthana) mixed with the five salts [should be used]. Inhalation of smoke (dhūma), emesis (vamana), nasal medication (nāvana), etc., which mitigate Kapha, should be followed (daily).

मेदोभवे सिरां विध्येत्कफघ्नं च विधिं भजेत् । असनादिरजश्चैनं प्रातर्मूत्रेण पाययेत् ॥ ७२ ॥
In that arising from medas (fat), veins should be cut (to let out blood) and all treatments mitigating Kapha should be done. He should be made to drink cow urine added with the powder of herbs of Asanadi gana (chapter 15 of Sutrasthana) in the morning.

अशान्तौ पाचयित्वा च सर्वान् व्रणवदाचरेत् । मुखपाकेषु सक्षौद्रा प्रयोज्या मुखधावनाः ॥ ७३ ॥
If the disease does not subside by these treatments, then all of them (all varieties) should be made to ripe (suppurate), cut and treated like an ulcer. In Mukhapāka (stomatitis/oral ulcers), mouth washes (mukhadhāvana) added with honey should be used-

क्वथितास्त्रिफलापाठामृद्वीकाजातिपल्लवाः । निष्ठेव्या भक्षयित्वा वा कुठेरादिर्गणोऽथवा ॥ ७४ ॥
prepared from the decoction of triphalā (Haritaki – Terminalia chebula, Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellerica, Amalaki – Emblica officinalis), pāṭhā – Cissampelos pareira, mṛdvīkā – Vitis vinifera, and tender sprouts (pallava) of jāti – Jasminum grandiflorum; or triphalā may be chewed and spat out (niṣṭhevya), or herbs of Kuṭherādi Gaṇa (chapter 15 of Sutrasthana) [may be used in the same manner].

मुखपाकेऽनिलात्कृष्णापट्वेलाः प्रतिसारणम् । तैलं वातहरैः सिद्धं हितं कवलनस्ययोः ॥ ७५ ॥
In Mukhapāka caused by Anila (Vata), powder of kṛṣṇā – Piper longum, paṭu – rock salt, and elā – Elettaria cardamomum should be rubbed (pratisāraṇa); oil prepared with Vata-mitigating herbs is beneficial for gargling (kavala) and nasal medication (nasya).
