संशोध्योभयतः कायं शिरश्चोपचरेत्ततः । नाडीं दन्तानुगां दन्तं समुद्धृत्याग्निना दहेत् ॥ ४० ॥

Dantanāḍī (dental sinus) should be treated by body purificatory therapies of both directions (emesis and purgation) and also of the head (nasal medication); the affected tooth should be pulled out and the site burnt with fire (thermal cautery).

saMzodhyobhayataH kAyaM zirazcopacarettataH । nADIM dantAnugAM dantaM samuddhRtyAgninA dahet ॥ 40 ॥
