Astanga Hrudaya
कनीनकव्यधादश्रु नाडी चाक्ष्णि प्रवर्तते । वृद्धेऽर्मणि तथाऽपाङ्गात्पश्यतोऽस्य कनीनकम् ॥ १९ ॥
Injury to the inner canthus leads to profuse flow of tears through the tear ducts. In case the Arma, that is more developed towards the outer canthus, the patient should be asked to look towards the inner canthus and then the cutting done suitably.
