तिलकल्कः समधुको घृताक्तो व्रणरोपणः। पक्वजम्ब्वसितं सन्नं सम्यग्दग्धम् विपर्यये॥३४॥

Paste of tila and Madhuka mixed with ghee heals the ulcer. Symptoms of proper burning by kshara Symptoms of good burning due to alkali are attaining black color similar to ripe fruit of Jamun (Syzygium cumini) and depression of the site.

english translation

tilakalkaH samadhuko ghRtAkto vraNaropaNaH। pakvajambvasitaM sannaM samyagdagdham viparyaye॥34॥
