सर्वतोऽनुसरन् दोषानुन्मूलयति मूलतः। कर्म कृत्वा गतरुजः स्वयमेवोपशाम्यति॥२६॥
After such actions, when the diseases/painful conditions disappear, the alkali also subsides on its own accord (its action no longer happens).

The disease treatable by alkali should either be cut, scraped or made to exudate fluids first, then the alkali is taken in an iron rod and placed on the spot. The other spots (healthy areas) in the surrounding area are kept covered and protected by cotton swabs and a time period of 100 matra is awaited.
