॥ Qualities of Kapha॥ Snigdhna – oily, unctuous, Sheeta – cold, Guru – heavy, Manda – mild, viscous, shlakshna – smooth, clear, Mrutsna – slimy, jely, sthira – stability, immobility are the qualities of Kapha The increase, decrease of individual Doshas, or imbalance of couple of these Doshas is called as Samsarga. And imbalance of all the three Doshas together is called as Sannipata.

॥ कफ के गुण॥ स्निग्धन - तैलीय, चिकना, शीत - ठंडा, गुरु - भारी, मंद - हल्का, चिपचिपा, श्लक्षण - चिकना, साफ, मृत्स्ना - चिपचिपा, जेली, स्थिर - स्थिरता, गतिहीनता कफ के गुण हैं। व्यक्तिगत दोषों की वृद्धि, कमी, या इन दोषों के एक जोड़े के असंतुलन को संसर्ग कहा जाता है। और तीनों दोषों के एक साथ असंतुलन को सन्निपात कहा जाता है।
