महत्तद्गुरु विष्टम्भि तीक्ष्णमामं त्रिदोषकृत् । तदेव स्नेहसिद्धं तु पित्तनुत् कफवातजित् ॥२४१॥
1. A substance that is large, heavy, binding, sharp, and causes intense digestion; it affects all three doshas (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha). 2. It is also beneficial for conditions involving excessive mucus (Kapha) and wind (Vāta), and is effective in reducing Pitta (bile). 3. It is known for its ability to relieve these conditions and is used to enhance the properties of oils (Snehana).

1. A substance that pacifies all three doshas (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha), is dry, and alleviates toxic disorders. 2. It is light, binding, and has a tendency to affect Vāta. 3. It is a type of leafy vegetable that is dry and comes from another type of Mūlaka (a medicinal plant).
