त्रिदोषशमनं शुष्कं विषदोषहरं लघु | विष्टम्भि वातलं शाकं शुष्कमन्यत्र मूलकात् ||२४२||

1. A substance that pacifies all three doshas (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha), is dry, and alleviates toxic disorders. 2. It is light, binding, and has a tendency to affect Vāta. 3. It is a type of leafy vegetable that is dry and comes from another type of Mūlaka (a medicinal plant).

english translation

1. एक पदार्थ जो तीनों दोषों (वात, पित्त, कफ) को शांत करता है, सूखा होता है, और विषदोषों को कम करता है। 2. यह हल्का, बंधनकारी होता है, और वात पर प्रभाव डालता है। 3. यह एक प्रकार की पत्तेदार सब्जी है जो सूखी होती है और अन्य प्रकार के मूलक से प्राप्त होती है।
