A sudden onset of disease due to an imbalance in the natural qualities of the land or season is detrimental to the wealth, strength, and longevity of the physician and others.

केवलः समदेहाग्नेः सुखसाध्यतमो गदः | अतोऽन्यथा त्वसाध्यः स्यात्कृच्छ्रो व्यामिश्रलक्षणः ||४७||

A disease that is equal in the body and fire, which is easily treatable and straightforward, is called a "sukhāsādhyatama" (easily treatable). However, if it deviates from this, it becomes difficult to treat and is characterized by complications.

जिस रोग का शरीर और अग्नि समान हैं, जो सुखदायक और सरल होता है, उसे 'सुखसाध्यतम' (सुख से ठीक होने योग्य) कहते हैं। लेकिन यदि यह इससे भिन्न हो जाता है, तो यह असाध्य हो जाता है और जटिलताओं से भरा होता है।

क्रियायास्तु गुणालाभे क्रियामन्यां प्रयोजयेत् | पूर्वस्यां शान्तवेगायां न क्रियासङ्करो हितः ||४८||

In the case of a therapeutic procedure, one should employ another therapy that enhances the qualities of the first procedure. However, it is not beneficial to combine therapies when the initial therapy is effective in calming the disease.
